Home Heating

MacDonnell Fuels has been in the propane supply business since the summer of 2012. When the trend shifted from furnace oil to propane, we recognized that our existing customers needed a reliable propane supplier. Since our leap into the propane supply business we have maintained 90% of our furnace oil customers by converting them to propane, and picked up 100’s of new propane clients. We provide automatic deliveries, budget plans, flexible payment options, and seasonal fill-ups. Our service team can help you choose the most efficient options for your home.

Agricultural Service

We strive for on-time fuel delivery, so you can make the most of those precious daytime hours. In planting, growing and harvest time, we’re just a call away with the bulk fuel and lubes you need to get the job done. Our lubricants can help you to prolong machinery life, reduce maintenance costs and emissions, and increase equipment availability. From heavy-duty engine oils to specialist final-drive lubricants, we supply a wide range of innovative products backed up by our lubricant expertise. And with an automatic fuel delivery plan in place, running low on fuel will never be a concern.

Commercial Service

We understand that as a business owner, your time is often limited. With an automatic fuel delivery plan in place, we can have lubricant delivered to your on-site facility whenever you need to keep your fleet on the road. We offer excellent value and a quality product to our customers, which is an even higher value to our clients that purchase lubricant in bulk. And with our 24/7 Cardlock Fuelling Stations, your fleet can stay topped up any time of the day. We provide one pin code per driver to better help you monitor your fuel usage and budgets.

Fuel Transport

If you’re in need of high-quality lubricants in large amounts, we have you covered! Our trucks are available to transport full loads of petroleum products all across Ontario, so we’re closer than you think. With loading terminals in Sarnia, Hamilton, London, Oakville and Toronto, it’s easy for us to be there to deliver on-time to our customers. If you’re in need of fuel transport service, freight rates and service contracts are available upon request. If you have any questions about fuel transportation plans, just give us a call and a member of our knowledgeable staff can go over the options.

Cardlock

Our Cardlock is an automated, open 24/7/365, unattended fueling site, designed mainly for commercial fleet vehicles. It has excellent accessibility for larger commercial trucks and is more convenient and efficient than a regular retail fuel site. That being said, many of our customers take advantage of the ease and convenience to fill all passenger vehicles as well. Clear Diesel, Coloured Diesel, DEF, Regular and Premium Unleaded are available.

MacDonnell Fuels has a fully stocked warehouse of Shell lubricants. With top name brands, we have everything you need for your Auto, Recreation, Marine and Heavy Equipment lubricant needs. Our knowledgable staff are on hand to help you decide on the right lubricants to keep your equipment running in top notch condition. PROPANE FACTS

Propane is an odourless gas to which an odourant has been added to detect leaks.

Liquid propane boils (from liquid to vapour) at -44F (-42.2C).

At one and a half times the weight of air, propane will settle in low areas.

In a liquid form, propane is half the weight of water.

About 23.5 cubic feet of air is required to burn one cubic foot of propane.

Complete combustion of propane produces clean water vapour and carbon dioxide.

Propane is a three-carbon alkane – its molecular formula is C3H8.
